ORIBI FOOD SYSTEMS / FOOD SECURITY / VALUE CHAIN DEVELOPMENT
Zandile builds the distribution links that get South African crops out of the field and onto shelves. By closing gaps in the local food value chain, she has helped dozens of small-scale farmers reach new markets — and is now working to bring their goods into national retail chains.

Zandile's agricultural work is grounded in a program built to turn early-stage ideas into working solutions for South Africa's food system.
Oribi Food Systems is an impact-focused entrepreneurship incubation program in South Africa that supports innovators, women, and youth working to improve food security, sustainability, and justice. Run by the ORIBI Incubator, the multi-month journey helps early-stage social enterprises scale solutions within the local food value chain.
Zandile completed the program, using it to sharpen the model behind her own initiative — one focused on streamlining distribution and closing the gaps that keep good produce from reaching good markets.
Zandile completed Oribi Food Systems, run by the ORIBI Incubator, as part of a cohort of innovators, women, and youth building solutions for food security, sustainability, and justice across South Africa's local food value chain.
